About
A narrow trade, on purpose
Wolf Repair Pro Los Angeles works on Wolf cooking equipment and nothing else, in four Los Angeles neighbourhoods and nowhere else. Both limits are deliberate.
Why only cooking equipment
Wolf is a cooking brand: ranges, rangetops, cooktops, wall and steam ovens, and the ventilation over them. Refrigeration is a different brand and a genuinely different trade — sealed systems, refrigerant handling, another set of parts entirely. A shop that claims both usually turns up to a gas range with a multimeter and a hopeful expression. We would rather know one family of equipment well enough to recognise a fault from the description on the phone.
Why only four neighbourhoods
Encino sits over the hill; Cheviot Hills and Mar Vista are on the Westside; Larchmont Village is in the middle. On Los Angeles roads that is already a working day's worth of geography. Adding a fifth neighbourhood would not add capacity, it would only stretch everybody's appointment window. If you are outside those four, we will say so on the phone rather than book you and disappoint you.
Two failure patterns, one metro
Equipment a few miles from the ocean fails differently from equipment in the Valley. Salt air in Mar Vista eats spark electrodes, burner caps and blower housings from the outside in. Encino gives us the opposite: heat and fine dust choking cooling fans and control bays, and control faults that follow a summer power dip. Larchmont Village adds nineteen-twenties houses on original gas runs and ductwork that was never sized for a modern hood. Knowing which pattern you are in changes what rides in the van.
How we quote
Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it. What that buys is panels off, meter and manometer out, and the fault found rather than guessed.
The repair itself is quoted from six price bands, set out in full on the repair pages and always as a range rather than one hopeful number. You hear the figure from inside that band before anything is dismantled. There is no on-site form to fill in: the phone is answered 24/7, and the booking page shows real availability if you would rather pick a slot yourself.
How a call runs
Three steps, no surprises in the middle
Nothing here is a promise about the outcome. It is simply the order things happen in, so you know what you are agreeing to when you pick up the phone.
-
The call, and three questions
What the equipment is doing, what the model number is, and what changed just before it started. Those three answers decide which parts are already in the van when we arrive, which is the difference between one visit and two. The line is answered around the clock; visits run 8 to 8, seven days.
-
Diagnosis, then a number
The maintop or the lower panel comes off and the fault gets found with a meter and a manometer rather than by swapping parts until something works. You get the price for the repair before it goes any further, and the $89 service call comes off it.
-
Fitted, run up, left clean
The part goes in, the equipment is run up and checked — flame quality on gas, a thermometer in the cavity on an oven, airflow at the grille on a hood — and the kitchen goes back the way it was. If something looks like the next thing to fail, you hear about it rather than finding out in six months.
