Wolf · Los Angeles, CA
Wolf Oven Repair in Los Angeles
Built-in Wolf wall ovens and steam ovens: temperature drift, convection failures, sagging door seals and control lockouts.
Calls that start like this
- Set to 400 and a roast comes out barely warm an hour later
- Convection fan whines, then quits partway through a bake
- Door hangs open a finger width and heat runs into the cabinets
- Panel shows an error code and the oven refuses to start at all
Flat $89 for the visit and the diagnosis, credited against the repair. What the work itself costs sits in six bands further down this page, and you hear the figure from inside that band before anything is dismantled.
What it costs
Six bands, and the one your fault lands in
What a Wolf repair costs is decided by the part, not by the neighbourhood. Six bands cover almost everything we are called out for. Each is a range because the same symptom can turn out to be a sensor or the board behind it, and we would rather show you both ends than a number we would have to walk back.
$89 Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.
The repair itself — the part and the work to fit it — is quoted from the bands below and agreed with you before anything is dismantled. If you go ahead, the $89 comes off that price. If you would rather not, you have paid for the diagnosis and the fault is written down for you.
- Igniter or spark module $170–$410
- Burner valve or orifice service $250–$590
- Oven thermostat or sensor calibration $210–$420
- Convection fan or motor $280–$620
- Control board or touch panel $450–$880
- Door hinge, glass or seal $290–$760
For comparison Replacing the equipment instead runs $7,560–$19,060 for a comparable professional range, before installation and ventilation work. Most of what is listed above is a part and an afternoon, which is usually the whole argument for repairing a Wolf rather than pulling it out.

Both cavities went dark at once in a 1926 house with the original wiring buried in the plaster. He traced it back to a scorched junction rather than the ovens themselves, made the connection good, and told me what an electrician should check.
Ilir S. · Windsor Square · March 2026
Everything out of the wall oven came up underdone at the temperature on the dial. He put a meter inside, showed me how far under it was running, and replaced the sensor. Baking is predictable again.
Yigal S. · Amestoy Estates · August 2025
Oven ran hot enough to scorch anything on the top rack while the bottom stayed pale. He replaced a warped baffle and a tired convection blade, then checked it with a thermometer. Two trips, though.

How a call runs
Three steps, no surprises in the middle
Nothing here is a promise about the outcome. It is simply the order things happen in, so you know what you are agreeing to when you pick up the phone.
-
The call, and three questions
What the equipment is doing, what the model number is, and what changed just before it started. Those three answers decide which parts are already in the van when we arrive, which is the difference between one visit and two. The line is answered around the clock; visits run 8 to 8, seven days.
-
Diagnosis, then a number
The maintop or the lower panel comes off and the fault gets found with a meter and a manometer rather than by swapping parts until something works. You get the price for the repair before it goes any further, and the $89 service call comes off it.
-
Fitted, run up, left clean
The part goes in, the equipment is run up and checked — flame quality on gas, a thermometer in the cavity on an oven, airflow at the grille on a hood — and the kitchen goes back the way it was. If something looks like the next thing to fail, you hear about it rather than finding out in six months.
